Hey there, I’m Arie Daalder. I’m a custom builder and contractor with 15 years experience building bunkies, cabins, cottages, and now coach houses.

If you are looking to find a contractor to help you and your family build that dream cabin or cottage for your family and friends, then you may have come to the right place.

I have been designing, assembling, building, sourcing and using local contractors and owners to build leisure and recreational cottages & second homes from mill kits to fully custom, since 2007.

I pride myself on my relationship with my clients, I work really hard to understand what people want and to find a way to balance their wishes with price, quality and timelines.

With possibly more experience with bunkies and small cottage footprints than other contractors, I can source and build cabins/cottages from 100 square feet to 10,000 square feet.

I am familiar with permits, national and local building codes, working with inspectors and the local trades and always complying with all the regulations and standards at the local level.

I have built structures on islands with no electrical hookup or power, I cleared lots, set footings, used local mills, lumber yards hardware stores and building supply yards.

For me it is very important to be a great local community partner using as much local talent and resources possible.
